Who has luxurious life in this Era?
     Educated or Skillful people!!!

The 21st century, the century of modern technology, where we can communicate to each other without having walkie talkies. The King century of all centuries for technologies like mobile phones, 3D projectors, whatsapp e.tc from which we can communicate without having problems. The dispute is who discovered these inventions Educated people or Skillful people? Education is the weapon from where we get informed about world and its things but Skill is the working material of that information which we get from Education. If we see towards china then every technology is being invented there nowadays, another question arises here Chinese people are more Educated or Skillful? People of China say that we are the biggest marketers in the world and we will close every market by launching our product and the lock which will be used to close of every market, will be of China. The market has changed drastically for skilled people. There is a growing demand for skills, particularly specialized skills. Skillful people require additional skills or education. Very highly skillful people may fall under the category of professionals, such as doctors and lawyers, and in the low category there are electricians, computer operators, administrative assistants, law enforcement officers and financial technicians e.tc.

In the human society, every person seeks the better job for better life and its style. Firstly, human tried to fulfill their basic necessities then they went ahead to luxurious life. Human used to live in the caves then they built houses of wood to live, now these houses have turned into stone-made houses. Human has also introduced the banglows and cottages for fat cats and for their fulfilling wishes of luxurious life. If we see towards luxuries, so there are many things in our daily life which must be transformed cheap to expensive like bike into car, house into banglow, salary paid in cheques and many more. Educated people keep their standard in luxury but it is hard to maintain. After many surveys Educated people are found 60% and skillful people are found 40% to spend luxurious life in this era. Educated people earn money with the sincerity of their profession as same as skillful people do, but sometimes skillful people want to earn much money for the sake of keeping their standard well, and in this matter they try everything to earn as good as they can whether it is koshar or inkoshar. Skillful people are called to be businessman in this era because after learning skills they go through to do their own businesses for the sake to earn better so they launch their businesses. They usually apply legal way to earn but sometimes they also apply illegal way to earn. Educated people have many ways to defeat their mistakes. They sometimes accept their mistakes on the time. Educated people know the beauty of world and from that thing they usually go on world tour but skillful people have less time to arrange these types of arrangements in their lives because of businesses of their job or business. Educated people have partial job to be done in their lives and they spend their time in surveying their or other countries situations.

Educated people have to study more in their childhood for becoming something in their future lives but (it is not decided that they will become Educated or Skillful in their lives) skillful people have much hardships from the beginning of their career till the end of their career. Educated people have less salary package to tackle their regular basis expenditures, whether they are earning well or less but skillful people have more chances to earn better from their jobs, businesses and other part time jobs. In businesses there are many chances to earn better but skillful people have to leave their relaxation time, siesta, sleeping at night, waking up late in morning and many more relaxations in their lives because they have come to know to live with luxuries, so they have to earn better. People of education promote sincerity, edicates, information about old things and the most important thing to be patriotic with their country. People of Pakistan are being known as educationist in their own fields like after clearing the most important CSS Exams they are posted to another countries of their own country’s embassy to promote their own country in better way but skillful people don’t get chance to present their own country because they don’t have degree to show but if they are talented so it is not also entertained to present their level on the international level because of not having degree. Education is most important in every field because Education is the weapon to tame firstly ourselves then world. Education is the key to face anything without losing the temperament.

I’m no bird, and no net ensnares me, I am  a free human being with an independent will. ( CHARLOTTE)
Being a woman it is quite difficult to live and work in a male oriented society, like Pakistan.
Here status of women is far worse than men. Unfortunately, Pakistan  is not a country known for equality between men and women.
Here when a women travels to work she must still be ready for stares and rude remarks from strangers. Women have to faces hurdles and obstacles despite of their class differences.
A working woman is a woman whether she works as a domestic worker or she’s appointed as a white collar worker.
Today’s women are performing their role as doctor, teachers, lawyers, domestic worker , cotton picker and many other fields of life .
As far as the capabilities of women are concerned they are no less than men.
To know more about working women let’s discuss working women in categories of  lower class, middle class, and upper class.
Lower Class working women.
Women in this category include a cotton picker or a labour who works in agricultural fields . woman who works whole day under the burning beams of sun and earns half of a money as compare to a male labour.  another one is domestic worker who works as a dishwasher or a maid at others houses , there’s another trend of female domestic domestic workers in which young girls of age 7-16 or the adult ones pay their services 24/7 in elite families to earn their bread . they’re treated worse than dogs their master yell at them, beat them , throw dishes at them, kicked them out from their houses , doesn’t provide them food and clothes and shelters, sometimes deduct their salaries for minor offenses. They treat them like a garbage just because they are women they are weak who can’t take any stand against them. But still they are doing their job to feed their families
Women are working in various sectors including fisheries , small industries, livestock, cottage industries, home based labour etc.  most of these sectors aren’t  classified as formal labour sectors where labour laws apply and for same reason role of women in economy is mostly not appear in records. Women in our lower classes are to fight severe battles of survival, without them working their families cannot survive.  It is the economic constraint on them. When they come out to work , they’ve to face two fold miseries ; discrimination and limited opportunities . it goes to their credit and honor that they survive in these circumstances and provide for their families.
Middle Class working women.
Women in this category are white collar workers with comparatively smaller families. They are doctors, engineers, professors, lecturers, contractors etc. it is is the result of two decades that women from middle class families are actively taking part in increasing the economy of a country . they are educated and avail private health care . they send their children to private schools. They live comfortably than poor class, but are financially lower than upper class. Working women of this also have to face abusive language, taunting and sarcastic comments, physical harassment  etc in their work places.
Upper Class working women.
Upper class working women in Pakistan enjoy high social, economic and poltical status and they are privileged class people . these women have sense of superiority . mostly have their own business like interior designers, models, textile brands , HR managers , marketing managers etc, .
At present women are enjoying a good status in upper class. The first female speaker of national assembly is explicit  example. In art and entertainment sharmeen obaid chinnoy has received Oscar award for her documentary film ‘’ Saving face”.
Nevertheless women suffer in miserable problems .
These problems may be social political and economical. A healthy and educated women can build a strong society . in many families women are restricted to get education , due to lack of education women failed to get their right and suffer in domestic violence.
Though working women in Pakistan face significant obstacles. But there’s now a critical mass of working women at all level showing the way to other Pakistani women . working women have a positive impact on society by investing her time , energy and money for better nutrition ,education and health care.
As women are progressing   and proving themselves in every walk of life, from working in agricultural fields to flying a jet nothing can stop women and there will be a time when society will accept her and will give her equal position and respect.

LIVES AROUND FOOTPATHS

Temporary built houses, single room, 9 to 10 people in a family, no washrooms no proper water systems, no sewerage system, even no gas to cook their food, absence of vital commodities; and the scorching weather; though life goes on.
Yeah! You can surely witness people living there lives in these horrible circumstances, neither they complain nor they desire but are happy and struggling to make both end meet. We can see many of these people besides the road even under the bridges. After every step we can see their houses which are made up of rags and sticks.
These houses are so light that even heavy wind or storm may blew it away. They can’t be found at a single place. They change their places as well as move their houses along with them. As municipality administration destitute them, they settle themselves for another space. Even they don’t want to change their way of living. The NGO’S works on them but after a couple of day they turn them back to the same condition which they use to be. They mostly run small temporary daily basis business; meanwhile most of them are related with junk collecting business, some of them are running vegetable carts door to door and street to street from one place to another place, they keep selling there vegetables to fulfill their needs. Most of them are the balloon sellers, their females are the real hard worker in their family, mostly these women work in local factories of the city located in the site area though they are supporting their men financially too. Besides this the people living around footpaths are also affiliated with the business of collecting raw junk from various places and they use to roam in garbage as well as through that they  gather huge sacks of  garbage from which they earn their livelihood. They are careless about their time. They don’t care how to utilize the importance of time or how to be punctual in anything. They are totally unaware of the word punctuality. They are also unaware with the educational system as well as they don’t even bother to send their children to any of the educational institutes so that they can make their future bright.  They are really irresponsible about their surroundings or behaving with the peoples around them. But the main noticeable vital thing among them is that they are full of patience and they are very supportive but only with their own community. They usually starts their day with the rising sun and mostly ends up at the dawn.
If u ever noticed while entering in Hyderabad from by-pass side you may be able to see them clearly on your left side of the window and you can clearly have a glance at their lifestyle. These communities are usually found in the open areas or the useless empty lands located in the city near any water disposal point. While I was moving home I could see man sleeping on footpath with his sleeping stuff. No matter who cares but he was enjoying his sleep.

Living in such a style they don’t care while spoiling roads, footpaths, and the plantation as well. They are causing environmental diseases, which are harming it. They are not having proper knowledge of hygiene, because of that most of them are suffering with severe diseases and they even don’t bother to have treatment because they can’t predict that in from which disease they are suffering.
In spite all these critical miserable life erotic circumstances, they also having a bright side. They celebrate their cultural eves, their marriage ceremonies with full preparations and also their holy occasions with full holiness. They are not allowed to marry outside their community, so they settle proposals among their own community. Some of the communities in them are Hindu by religion and few others worship sun.  Because of lack of knowledge they are unaware from the word family planning and this results in the day by day rapidly increasing population of their community. Lack of resources, unavailability of essential things of life, unaware of the basic life knowledge results in the unbearable life but the people living around footpaths are surviving.

Language is the way to Communicate in Sindh :

FEATURE BY
FATIMA MUSTAFA
2K14/MC/27
Everyone in the world have love for their ' Mother Language', no matter that is their national  or regional languages or not. They think that our mother language is important and precious than all other languages in the world.  Whenever we go to western and European countries we feel extra special when we met their with our country or mother tongue people we give them respect from the heart. There is no doubt that Sindh's national language is Sindhi and Sindh people love to talk their national language.  In Sindh other languages are also spoken like Siraiki,  Pashto, Dhatki, Punjabi etc and have their own importance.
Language is the way to communicate people and it is important part of culture.  A language represents the people identify and heritage.  As we all know that urdu is the national language but many other regional languages spoken in Sindh.  Different communities of people live in Pakistan they are identified on the basis of languages.
In Sindh sindhi is spoken by more than 35 million people and 25% people are sindhi speaking  in karachi. Not only sindhi other forms
of sindhi are being spoken in different areas of  sindh like if someone talk dhatki that means they belong to thar or umerkot.  Dhatki is also form of sindhi languages  mostly spoken by desert region peoples. Another language spoken in Sindh is vicholi in vicholo,  central Sindh. In lower areas of Sindh people mostly speak lari like in Thata etc.  They used the word that is different from normal sindhi like ' awehin'  and in normal sindhi we use ' tahan'.  In one city of Sindh people speak more than one language as in Dadu people speak urdu,  sindhi, siraiki, balochi, etc.
When their is difference in the language of people who are living in one particular area or working in the office they met people of different culture and their languages are different from eachother like in university we met with different languages people and different culture people we meet there  with muhajirs,  punjabis,  sindhis or other countries people. Their talking of way is different from eachother.  When we first interact with them we have communication problem like mostly people do not understand sindhi and urdu and its some time become interesting when urdu speaker speaks sindhi its look like fun and they enjoy their languages. In Hyderabad areas like Old Campus, Hirabad, people of different language live in that area most of them speak urdu and some speak sindhi and some speak punjabi.  Dealing with different languages is considered to one of the most crucial and demanded skills in the world. The present  time has become the global village and this means that there are no boundaries and limitations today.  So this is outdated  approach that you will only deal with native people of your city/country/area where  mother language will be used. But when you are living in area where differents language people live  together it is more interesting when you come across with them. Its means that  in that area more than one culture is existing amoung the people's like sindhi, punjabi,  muhajir,  balochi cultures. In that area they share their culture and tradition with eachother. They celebrate their events together  and enjoy with eachothers culture. Like in Sindh Sindhi Ekta day not only celebrated by sindhi people but also other languages peoples celebrate this event. They wear sindhi dresses  and topi ajrak.
Now in present era employers want their employes to deal the audience throughout the world and for that they should be well aware regarding their languages so that the communication barrier may not occur in between.  It is perceived that the individual is able to deal with various languages with perfection so that the communication can be made possible and effective.  It is considered to be one of the most demanding skill that if a person know more than one languages, no matter they are confined to the national,  regional languages or even the international languages. The very basic and crucial advantage of this is for the employees who make the use of it and you will perform various tasks by yourself and has given you better opportunities  to be successful.  If you are able to speak various languages than it become very much easy to accommodate your self in those area where these languages are spoken. This is because language is the barrier and the basic problem for communication being faced by the people and this causes various  troubles while getting settled in unknown area.  So the individual is aware and is able to speak and to understand various languages properly it will be easy for them  to settle down quickly as compared to the one who are not aware of those languages.

People do prefer and do appreciate the one who speaks with them in their native language as they consider themselves and highly regard them,  so if the individual will be able to deal and to speak and understand various languages and get regard those communities  and will not be considered as the stanger.

Facilitated Man Is Unhappy!
The world has advanced marvelously in past few decades. The science and technology have developed and worked at a huge instant for making the world a better place. By rapid inventions of modern technologies, human has been facilitated. These scientific inventions have affected the human and human life profoundly. The way of living has been changed. Talking about past, not long ago, human did not have as many facilities as he has today. The very common examples are ‘Smart Phones’ and ‘Availability of Internet’. If we talk about only 10 to 15 years back from today, these both things were present but were not in the reach of as many people as today. There is no doubt that the inventions like internet, smart phones and etc have made the human life easier but on other hand these all things have affected the human feelings and their nature.
A few weeks before, one day when I was talking to my friend, whose age is about 30 years, he mentioned his feelings while recalling the time, when he and other his friends did not use to have mobile phones. He said, “There was a time when to meet friends, we used to go their homes directly, without informing, and used to call them by knocking their doors. The person used to come out from home, without knowing that who is outside. At that time, there used to be a surprise element. Some feelings of happiness at meeting friends surprisingly were present. Those feelings of happiness have lost in today’s world as the human is facilitated with mobile phones, and no surprise meetings take place today.” There is no doubt in it that by such facilities, like mobile phones and SMS bundles, we have got the easy and quick access to our friends and family but it is also true that these facilities have harmed our feelings somehow.
Another very common example of facility which has reduced our happiness is sources of information. As the world kept advancing, the new sources of sending and receiving the information were introduced. In past good news used to come through post man. The letter was one and only sources to communicate something. The time when some good news used to come through some letters, the feelings of that time cannot be defined in words. We have listened to many old songs, just describing these feelings of receiving such letters. One of such songs is “Chitthi ai hay! ai hay! chitthi ai hay!’. Now in today’s world, if a person is selected for some job, first he would be informed through internet, as the lists of selected candidates are pasted on concerned websites. He checks his name there or he receives the information through some other sources. When in the end the joining letter is received, no such emotions remain. A person does get happy but not to that level which would have been if it was a surprise.
The facilities like televisions and computers have provided us with entertainment but on other hand, it has become a cause of decreasing social interactions of a person. In past when there were no televisions and computers, everybody had time to care for others. There were good relations with each other in neighbors. But in today’s world weather a person is doing nothing the whole day, he does not have time to talk with his neighbors even with his family members. Everybody is sitting alone, having his smart phone, playing games, using different apps the whole day. A man has been isolated by all such activities. In the end the feeling of un-satisfaction comes over.

In today’s world the man is facilitated much, the life has completely changed. But the satisfaction is lost somewhere. In past human did not have many facilities. The life was very simple but people had feelings of happiness. Today as much the man is facilitated, he is as unhappy.

Feature On Pakka Qilla, Hyderabad

Introduction:  Pacco Qillo commonly known as Pakka Qilla is an early modern fort in Hyderabad, Pakistan. The Fort was constructed on the hillock known locally as Gunjy, by Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro, around 1768 when he founded the city of Hyderabad. The story of the Pakka fort is a fascinating tale, one documenting the rise and fall of different rulers.

History about Pakka Qilla: The Pacco Qillo built by Ghulam Shah still remains today but in a devasted state and a dire need of repair. During the Talpur rule over Sindh, Mir Fateh Ali Khan leave Khudabad and shifted his capital to Hyderabad in 1789. He also used the Hyderabad Fort to reside and hold his court in it. For the purpose he added a Haram and other buildings to accommodate the ruling family and his relations. Still the court is running by Government official and authorities. This was the time when Pakka Qilla looks beautiful. It has new look and strong. Houses were made beautiful. It was well furnished, and people of Hyderabad and other areas love to live there. There is only one main entrance, opening in the north towards Shahi Bazar.

Current Situation of Pakka Qilla

There was a time when the Pakka Qilla was new and well looked. Now it has move towards devasting condition. Pakka Qilla now not in a good condition. Now in Pakka Qilla only poor people used to live. But, when it was in a good condition, People of Shahi Family and Mir's and other rich people used to live there. The fort now in a damage condition. Now it is not in good look and well furnished, all the thing is in bad and poor condition.  There is no good drainage system. Many of the time sewerage water is stand in the corner of the street of Pakka Qilla. Now there is no maintenance in the fort. The fort is unable to rebuild again because the base is too weak to build. Since almost two centuries, there is no repairment work for the fort. Approximately 1000 homes are there where people used to live. Near to Pakka Qilla there are 2 girls school named as Khadija High School and the other one is Government High School. There is also one Government school for boys as well. There is a college named as Hidayat Ullah College. There is Hasrat Mohani library where some memorable things of Mughals were there.
Today, Living inside the fort is not less than any kind of danger. According to the residence of Pakka Qilla, There is no such drainage system. And this is the cause that fort is getting worst day by day. There was a calligraphy on the walls and picture gallery in the fort and also there was ancient accessories which were stolen and robbed. It is an unfortunate of Sindh and as well as Pakistan that the historical fort has reached to such condition and its wall are falling slowly and gradually, While people are still living inside and near by the fort. The Fort is almost come to an end and it is very difficult to bring it to its actual condition.
People who lived in the fort was very angry and upset against the Government of the destruction of famous fort. People are saying that it is a tragedy that Pakka fort is suffering from this fate. Its wall have been falling down for a long time, while people continue to live there. People are more hopeful about the fort future. They hope that authority should protect whatever is left behind in the fort. Otherwise another important heritage of Sindh will be destroyed.

Hakeem’s in the buses
Feature
Rajesh Kumar oad- III
Roll no; 2k14/MC/78
In old times, when medical was not developed as much as today. At that time treatment of different diseases  done by mixing of different herbs. Those wise people used different methods to treat the patients and were called as Hakeem. Because of their treatment, people were benefited in health with meagre medicine at low cast with not too much heavy dose. The famous Hakeem Luqman is still reffered to whenever this type of treatment method is mentioned because of his highly effective methods of treatment. That treatment which is made of herbs is widely used in some part of the modern world. In such age when medicine and treatment methods are at its peak in history of humankind.
Especially, those hakeem are seemed, when we travel in buses or couches, carrying medicines in the bags and yelling to sell their herbal made medicines as they claim. Hence they succesfully grab some persons attention while some have to listen undeliberately or not care at all.
Such one condition come across before my eyes. When I was in bus and that day was really interesting day. As couch started to go from bus stand one man sit beside me.that, who was black in colour, long moustaches, handling black beg like school children’s and due to badly chewing ‘pan’there were lines seen on mouth both sides. Firstly, due to his this condition, I came to laugh but quickly I controlled on my laughing. After some greetings with each other we both silenced. But as bus goes further he stood up suddenly and started to speak with travellers by getting attention. “Assalam- o –alikum; my brothers, I need two minutes, just two minutes with your attention. Here are some literate brothers, religiously aware people are available”. lier must go to hell and God is witness, we do hard work, never lie. I brought medicines for you prepared from different herbs on the formula proposed by famous Hakeem, my respected teacher ‘Hakeem Waloo khan’, yes my brothers, this medicine is not so common medicine like others in the market, this medicine will help you in relief from headache, jointache and shoulder ache. Just in few seconds. Such more beneficiaries’ medicine actual price is 50 rupees in which 10 rupees has consection for you traveller brothers. Means only in 40 rupees which is not as much price for the medicine which gives you life.

As he was talking he made me laugh once again because of his conversation and used sentences. like by coming he made the consection of 10 rupees with people, other thing that he said to another person without his ordering ‘yes sir coming, coming just wait brother, you all will be provided such a nice medicine prepared by us on formula of ‘Hakeem Waloo khan Multani’ And what astonishing he forced one person to buy by saying that ‘it will be helpful for you but that person refused by saying “I have no need of it, will you give forcibly?”. Then he goes to others silently. finaly, his packets were sold out just in few minutes. And after sometime he left the bus on the next stop. After his leaving the bus, I asked a person who was seeming me an educated one that how would you see him, is he really Hakeem? His medicine in small price will really give more benefit? Firstly, he laughed then become serious and replied; ‘first of all such Hakeem are not available who give benefit to the people in now a days and if they give benefit, will they visit buses, No; they have proper place for the patients in the markets or villages. secondly, today is the period of science, medical field has been developed , who will believe on fake medicines.no doubt there was good period of these Hakeem but now those persons who believe on these fake Hakeem’s are wasting their money with time, I do not believe them. Just he was continue in his speaking an old person of 80 years whose teeth seems me like broken, big spreading eyebrow and long ears hair who interrupted and said to us son it is not so; you are in little age you have not seen period of us, where todays dr; s and hospital were not present at that time these were Hakeem who treat the people in a very low price by making medicine from natural plants and become cause for giving good health. And believe me still today, when I become ill I get medicine from these Hakeem sometime I get benefited from it, sometimes not. Not getting benefit because my old age and due too many disease and also because of one foot is in grave and one is on the earth. On such saying of old person, I smiled and feel he maybe telling the truth, on their way because that was the time when there was no hospitals or doctors with such nice facilities as today we have. where these Hakeem’s were useful but now a days it is science and technology period and many revolutions come in the medical, now we cannot focus on those old fashioned treatments This is why today mostly people depend upon medical rather than Hakeems. Because in modern world, these kind of people who fake themsleves as Hakeems  to sell their products as unemployment and poverty has made these persons to do such jobs. When they fail to earn enough to satisfy their needs they do such things not thinking about the affect on the people and their health. Again now it is depend upon us what we have to choose.
