Facilitated Man Is Unhappy!
The world has advanced marvelously in past few decades. The science and technology have developed and worked at a huge instant for making the world a better place. By rapid inventions of modern technologies, human has been facilitated. These scientific inventions have affected the human and human life profoundly. The way of living has been changed. Talking about past, not long ago, human did not have as many facilities as he has today. The very common examples are ‘Smart Phones’ and ‘Availability of Internet’. If we talk about only 10 to 15 years back from today, these both things were present but were not in the reach of as many people as today. There is no doubt that the inventions like internet, smart phones and etc have made the human life easier but on other hand these all things have affected the human feelings and their nature.
A few weeks before, one day when I was talking to my friend, whose age is about 30 years, he mentioned his feelings while recalling the time, when he and other his friends did not use to have mobile phones. He said, “There was a time when to meet friends, we used to go their homes directly, without informing, and used to call them by knocking their doors. The person used to come out from home, without knowing that who is outside. At that time, there used to be a surprise element. Some feelings of happiness at meeting friends surprisingly were present. Those feelings of happiness have lost in today’s world as the human is facilitated with mobile phones, and no surprise meetings take place today.” There is no doubt in it that by such facilities, like mobile phones and SMS bundles, we have got the easy and quick access to our friends and family but it is also true that these facilities have harmed our feelings somehow.
Another very common example of facility which has reduced our happiness is sources of information. As the world kept advancing, the new sources of sending and receiving the information were introduced. In past good news used to come through post man. The letter was one and only sources to communicate something. The time when some good news used to come through some letters, the feelings of that time cannot be defined in words. We have listened to many old songs, just describing these feelings of receiving such letters. One of such songs is “Chitthi ai hay! ai hay! chitthi ai hay!’. Now in today’s world, if a person is selected for some job, first he would be informed through internet, as the lists of selected candidates are pasted on concerned websites. He checks his name there or he receives the information through some other sources. When in the end the joining letter is received, no such emotions remain. A person does get happy but not to that level which would have been if it was a surprise.
The facilities like televisions and computers have provided us with entertainment but on other hand, it has become a cause of decreasing social interactions of a person. In past when there were no televisions and computers, everybody had time to care for others. There were good relations with each other in neighbors. But in today’s world weather a person is doing nothing the whole day, he does not have time to talk with his neighbors even with his family members. Everybody is sitting alone, having his smart phone, playing games, using different apps the whole day. A man has been isolated by all such activities. In the end the feeling of un-satisfaction comes over.

In today’s world the man is facilitated much, the life has completely changed. But the satisfaction is lost somewhere. In past human did not have many facilities. The life was very simple but people had feelings of happiness. Today as much the man is facilitated, he is as unhappy.
